SATA Azores Airlines is a Portuguese air carrier, formerly known as SATA International. The company was founded in 1994 and its headquarters are located in Ponta Delgada on São Miguel Island. The airline is a subsidiary of SATA Air Acores.
The airline's fleet consists of Airbus A321neo LR, Airbus A321neo and Airbus A320 aircraft, and also smaller Bombardier Q400 Nextgen and Bombardier Q200 aircraft, which are used for flights within the Azores.

<h3>Hand luggage</h3>
Economy Class passengers can travel with 1 piece of carry-on luggage with maximum dimensions 21.6 x 15.7 x 7.8 inches (55 x 40 x 20 cm) and weight up to 17.6 pounds (8 kg). For Business Class passengers, this weight limit is increased to 33 pounds (15 kg). Passengers in both classes can take one personal item (handbag, umbrella, camera) with them along with their hand luggage.
<h3>Checked baggage</h3>
Checked baggage allowances vary by fare and destination. The limit for Business Class on all flights is 141 pounds (64 kg). On flights to Europe or Africa, Economy Class passengers can take a maximum of 50.7 pounds (23 kg).
