About EgyptAir
EgyptAir was founded in 1932. The first flight took off in 1933 on a route from Cairo to Alexandria. During World War II, the airline was renamed Misr Airlines. In 1971 the airline got its present name. Today, EgyptAir is the second largest airline in Africa and it's a member of the Star Alliance. Its headquarters are located at Cairo International Airport (CAI).
The company has a large fleet (70 aircraft) and mostly uses Boeing 777s. With EgyptAir, you can travel to more than 87 destinations in 54 countries.
