Online check-in or web check-in is available 48 hours - 90 minutes before scheduled departure. You can check in on the <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.egyptair.com/en/Pages/HomePage.aspx" target="_blank">EGYPTAIR - Official Website</a> by clicking on "My booking" tab and filling in your PNR / Booking reference number and your surname. You can either print out your boarding pass or present it on your phone.
<h3>Airport check-in</h3>
Airport check-in is usually available 2-3 hours before departure (depending on the specific destination), check-in counters usually close 60 minutes before departure.
To travel to Egypt you must have a valid passport at least 6 months after arrival.

EgyptAir was founded in 1932. The first flight took off in 1933 on a route from Cairo to Alexandria. During World War II, the airline was renamed Misr Airlines. In 1971 the airline got its present name. Today, EgyptAir is the second largest airline in Africa and it's a member of the Star Alliance. Its headquarters are located at Cairo International Airport (CAI).

Each passenger is entitled to bring one piece of carry-on luggage up to 17.6 pounds (8 kg) with maximum dimensions of 21.7 x 15.8 x 9 inches (55 x 40 x 23 cm). The number may vary depending on your class of travel and destination.

Economy Class - Depending on the specific fare, passengers in Economy Class are normally entitled to 1 piece of checked luggage up to 50.7 pounds (23 kg).
Business Class - Passengers may have 2 pieces of checked luggage, each up to a maximum of 70.5 pounds (32 kg).
Infants are entitled to one checked bag up to 22 pounds (10 kg). When flying to the USA and Canada, infants can have 1 item up to 50.7 pounds (23 kg) plus a stroller or seat for free.

The selection of inflight services is always based on the specific aircraft type. EgyptAir offers a wide selection of entertainment on its flights - a choice of movies, music, children's content, and other services such as internet access (onboard Wi-Fi) or the possibility of making calls for a fee.
Meals on EgyptAir are served free of charge on every flight. Soft drinks, tea, or coffee are also served free of charge. However, alcoholic beverages are not available on EgyptAir (not even for a fee - the company does not provide them for religious reasons).
