The Philippine Airlines (also known as Philippine Air Lines - PAL) was founded in 1941 by a group of businessmen led by Andres Soriano. It is the first and therefore the oldest commercial airline in Asia to operate under its original name.
Today, you can fly with Philippine Airlines to Asia, the Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Japan, the USA or Canada and Guam. The company's logo features two triangles, blue and red, and an eight-pointed sun. The image is shaped in the form of a sailing ship.

Check-in counters close 45 minutes before departure for domestic flights and one hour before departure for international flights. The departure gate closes 15 minutes before departure time.

For flights with destination/start in the UK (London), checked baggage must not exceed 30 kg / 66 lb for Economy Class.
