You can check in online for free <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.saudia.com/travel-with-saudia/manage/web-check-in#checkin_proceed" target="_blank">via the carrier's website</a> 48 hours before your scheduled departure and up to one hour before departure. The boarding pass must be printed for inspection. Another way to check in is via a mobile app, which will ensure you always have the necessary documents with you in your phone. The online check-in service is not available for passengers with the need of special assistance and special requirements (disabled people, unaccompanied minors, and passengers carrying pets).
<h3>Airport check-in</h3>
You can check in at the airport counter 2 - 3 hours before departure. The counter usually closes 40 minutes before departure for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights. You can also use the self-service kiosk for your check-in procedure.

Saudi Arabian Airlines, in short Saudia, was founded in 1945 and is the flag carrier of Saudi Arabia. Its headquarters are located in Jeddah, but large bases can also be found at Riyadh and Dammam airports. Saudi is a major member of the Arab Air Carriers alliance. In 2012 the airline also joined SkyTeam.

<h3>Hand luggage</h3>
For Economy Class there is one carry-on bag weighing up to 15.4 pounds (7kg) allowed. If you are traveling in Business Class, you may bring one carry-on bag up to 19.8 pounds (9 kg). For First Class passengers, the limit is 26.4 pounds (12 kg). The overall dimensions of carry-on luggage must not exceed 45.27 inches (115cm). 
<h3>Checked luggage</h3>
If you travel on the lowest Economy Saver fare, you are not entitled to bring any checked luggage. In the higher Economy fares, you can check in a maximum of 50.7 pounds (23 kg). For flights to North America, you can pack 2 x 50.7 pounds (23 kg), the same applies to Economy Semi-flex and Economy Flex fares, regardless of the final destination. Business-class passengers can check in two pieces of luggage weighing up to 70.5 pounds each (32 kg). The same applies to First Class passengers.
