Spirit Airlines

The company offers flights at very low prices, and this is unfortunately reflected in the need for extra baggage fees.

Hand luggage

Only one small personal bag (e.g. handbag, small backpack, etc.) is included in the price of the ticket and must not exceed 17.7 x 13.7 x 7.8 inches (45 x 35 x 20 cm) including handles and wheels. The size of carry-on luggage is limited to a maximum size of 22 x 18.1 x 9.8 inches (56 x 46 x 25 cm) including handles and wheels.

Checked baggage

The maximum size of checked baggage is the sum of length + width + height, which must not exceed 62.2 inches (158 cm). The maximum allowed weight of the baggage is 39.7 pounds (18 kg). Any baggage that exceeds these dimensions or weight limit is considered oversized and will be subject to additional charges. The airline also advises that they cannot accept baggage that weighs more than 99.2 pounds (45 kg) or measures more than 79.9 inches (203 cm) in overall dimensions.
