<h3>Online Check-in</h3>
Online Check-in is available 30 hours prior to scheduled departure and closes 4 hours prior to scheduled departure. You can check in directly on the Transavia website in the "<a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://affiliateport.scaletrk.com/click?o=1273&a=6695&sub_id1=transavia&sub_id5=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.transavia.com%2Fen-NL%2Fmy-transavia%2F" target="_blank">Check-in online</a>" section. Once you have filled in the required information, your boarding pass will be generated. The boarding pass must be printed or downloaded to your smartphone and then presented at the airport.
<h3>Airport Check-in</h3>
Check-in at the airport is free of charge with Transavia. You can check in at one of the designated check-in counters. In most cases, check-in counters open 2 hours before scheduled departure and close 40 minutes before scheduled departure. However, this time may vary at different airports. Transavia is a Dutch low-cost airline. It was founded in 1965 and its first flight took off in 1966. It is owned by the airline Air France - KLM. Today, it is divided into two parts: Transavia France and Transavia Holland. The company's head office is at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. The company has additional bases at Rotterdam, Haag, Eindhoven and Paris Orly airports and operates flights from more than 20 European countries.

<h3>Cheap Flights</h3>
If you want to buy tickets for the cheapest price possible, we recommend booking them at least one month in advance. The cheapest tickets can usually be purchased about 1-3 months before the departure date. The cheapest return tickets within European destinations can be found in the price range of €66 - €83 / £54 - £68 / $74 - $93. If you want to travel cheaply, book flights in the Basic fare.

<h3>Hand luggage</h3>
You can take one carry-on bag with you on board the aircraft free of charge, with a maximum size of 21.6 x 13.7 x 9.8 inches (55 x 35 x 25 cm) and one additional item measuring 15.7 x 11.8 x 7.8 inches (40 x 30 x 20 cm). The total weight must not exceed 22 pounds (10 kg).
There is space for a limited number of hand luggage onboard the aircraft. If the onboard storage space is full, you may be asked to check in your hand baggage (free of charge). Passengers who have purchased a Max fare ticket are guaranteed to have their hand luggage on board.
If you exceed any of the limits, you will be charged a €42 / £34 / $47 fee at the airport.
<h3>Checked Baggage</h3>
One passenger can have a maximum of 5 checked bags. The maximum weight limit for checked baggage per passenger is 110 pounds (50 kg), with a maximum of 70,5 pounds (32 kg) per checked bag.
