Hand luggage

You can take one carry-on bag with you on board the aircraft free of charge, with a maximum size of 21.6 x 13.7 x 9.8 inches (55 x 35 x 25 cm) and one additional item measuring 15.7 x 11.8 x 7.8 inches (40 x 30 x 20 cm). The total weight must not exceed 22 pounds (10 kg).

There is space for a limited number of hand luggage onboard the aircraft. If the onboard storage space is full, you may be asked to check in your hand baggage (free of charge). Passengers who have purchased a Max fare ticket are guaranteed to have their hand luggage on board.

If you exceed any of the limits, you will be charged a €42 / £34 / $47 fee at the airport.

Checked Baggage

One passenger can have a maximum of 5 checked bags. The maximum weight limit for checked baggage per passenger is 110 pounds (50 kg), with a maximum of 70,5 pounds (32 kg) per checked bag. For more detailed information on checked baggage fees, please visit this link.

Special baggage

Sports equipment (golf clubs, bicycles, surfboards,...) is allowed on Transavia, but you must inform the airline in advance. Detailed information regarding special baggage can be found at this link. Traveling with pets is permitted on Transavia for a fee.
