The easiest way to check in is via this <a rel="noopener" href="https://web.vivaaerobus.com/en/my-flight" target="_blank">link</a> or via the My booking section on the <a rel="noopener" href="https://www.vivaaerobus.com/en-us/" target="_blank">homepage</a>. In addition, online check-in is possible on your phone via the Viva Aerobus app (<a rel="noopener" href="https://apps.apple.com/us/app/viva-aerobus/id1185620483" target="_blank">iOS</a> and <a rel="noopener" href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.navitaire.nps.VB&amp;hl=en&amp;gl=US" target="_blank">Android</a>). You will need the booking code and your surname to do this. Check-in opens 24 hours and closes 2 hours before departure. You can modify your reservation at any time and VivaAerobus offers this service free of charge.
<h3>Airport check-in</h3>
At the airport, you can check in at kiosks or counters. For international flights, check-in is open 3 hours to 45 minutes before departure, while for domestic flights it opens 2 hours and closes 45 minutes before departure.

VivaAerobus (officialy Aeroenlaces Nacionales, S.A. de C.V.) is a Mexican low-cost airline. It was founded in 2006 and it carried 64.5 million passengers by 2020. In 2020, the airline established a subsidiary, Viva Cargo, which specializes in air cargo.
The airline provides flights to the USA (New York, Chicago and other cities), and can also take you to Cuba or Colombia. In addition to international flights, they also provide intra-country services (Mexico City, Cancun or Tijuana).

Carry-on baggage is included in the price of <a rel="noopener" href="https://www.vivaaerobus.com/en-us/info/fares-and-combos" target="_blank">Light, Extra and Smart classes</a>. It can weigh up to 15 kg (33 lb) for Smart Class and 10 kg (22 lb) for other classes. It must not exceed 56 x 40 x 25 cm (22 x 15.7 x 9.8 in). In addition to this, all classes also include the option of bringing one small personal bag (laptop, handbag, backpack), which must not exceed 45 x 35 x 20 cm (17.7 x13.8 x 7.9 in).
<h3>Checked baggage</h3>
For Extra and Smart Class, you get your first checked bag included in the ticket price. It can weigh up to 15 kg (33 lb) for Extra Class and up to 25 kg (55 lb) for Smart Class. Keep an eye on the circumference of your suitcase - including the handle and wheels, it should not exceed 158 cm (62.2 in).
Musical instruments and sports equipment will be transported as checked baggage. It must not exceed 32 kg (70.5 lb) and 320 cm (126 inches) in circumference.
