Transportation from Berlin Brandenburg Airport to the center of Berlin

By Train to Berlin
The train station Flughafen BER Terminal 1-2 Bahnhof is located directly under Terminal 1 (a maximum of 10 minutes' walk from arrivals T1 and T2). Regional trains FEX Flughafenexpresszug, RE7, and RB14 depart to Berlin at the most frequent intervals (approximately every 10 minutes) and the travel time is about 25 minutes. You can also travel to the city center by Intercity train and S-Bahn S9, but Intercity does not run as often and S-Bahn S9 takes about 50 minutes to reach the center.
The last train from the airport departs at 1 AM, and the first to the airport at 4 AM. Overnight, it is necessary to use the night bus line N60 (travel time is about an hour and runs at 30-minute intervals).

Tickets
A ticket for an adult costs £3.1 (3.6 EUR), and children have a ticket for £2.2 (2.6 EUR). Tickets are valid across the entire public transport network - including trains, S-Bahn, buses, etc. You can purchase them from machines or online via the app.
You might also consider a range of advantageous tickets, such as a 24-hour tourist ticket for £7.5 (8.8 EUR).
Bus
You can also use buses for transportation to/from the airport. Line X7 (or X71) connects terminal 1-2 and terminal 5 with the Rudow metro station, from where you can continue further into Berlin. This option is more suitable if you need to get to/from the outskirts of Berlin.
Car Rental
The most flexible transportation is ensured by renting a car. You can compare offers here. Generally, the earlier you book a car, the more you save.
Taxi
In front of the airport, you will find a taxi stand, and the journey to the center of Berlin will cost you approximately £46.1 (53 EUR). It is more advantageous to order a taxi through Gettransfer, where the journey will cost you £39.2 (45 EUR). When traveling with small children, you will also appreciate the option of a child car seat and the possibility of ordering a larger vehicle.
