There are rules for the transportation of child passengers, which you should familiarise yourself with before departure. The child and their companion must be travelling in the same class.

Traveling with children under 5

Only children under 2 years old can be carried on your lap. If you are travelling with a newborn under 7 days of age, it is recommended that you present a certificate from a doctor, who will approve the flight. Children aged 0 to 5 years can only travel with their parents or an adult in charge of the child.

You can also carry your own baby food for infants.

Traveling with children over 5 years old

Children aged 5 to 12 years old can travel either accompanied by an adult or supervised by airline staff. After the age of 12, children can travel without adult accompaniment or assistance from airline staff.
