<h3>Online check-in</h3>
You can check in online directly at <a rel="noopener" href="https://ec.tigerairtw.com/en/flight/check-in/login" target="_blank">the carrier's website</a> and this option is available for flights departing from Taoyuan International Airport. The service is available no earlier than 48 hours and no later than 2.5 hours before scheduled departure and it's free of charge to passengers. Please note, however, that even if you check in online, you must show your boarding pass at the check-in counter.
In some cases, online check-in is not possible, for example for passengers with special assistance or for passengers under 15 years of age. You can see a list of exceptions on <a rel="noopener" href="https://ec.tigerairtw.com/en/flight/check-in/login" target="_blank">this page</a>.
<h3>Airport check-in</h3>
To check in at the airport, please arrive at the check-in counter no earlier than 2.5 hours before departure. You can check in no later than 45 minutes before departure, when the counter closes. The exception is at Macao Airport, where the check-in counter closes 60 minutes before departure time. 
If you insist on selecting a seat and did not purchase this option when you bought your ticket, you must add seats no later than 4 hours before departure. This service is no longer available during check-in.

<h3>Carry-on baggage</h3>
Each passenger can take one piece of hand luggage and one personal bag on board the aircraft for free. The combined weight of the two should not exceed 10 kg (22 lb) and dimensions of 54 x 38 x 23 cm (21.3 x 15 x 9 in).
<h3>Checked baggage</h3>
If you need larger luggage on your travels, you will have to pay extra for it on the basic LITE fare with Tigerair Taiwan. At the same time, you will need to comply with the checked baggage limits, which are a maximum weight of 30 kg (66 lb) and the sum of the length, width and height of the baggage must not exceed 203 cm (79.9 in).
On TIGERSMART and TIGERPRO fares, checked baggage weighing up to 20 kg (44 lb) is included in the ticket price.
