Travelers can check in online from the comfort of their homes or check in directly at the airport. Check-in is free in both cases.
<h3>Online check-in</h3>
Online check-in is possible for free from the comfort of your home 3-24 hours before departure at <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.tunisair.com/site/publish/content/default.asp?lang=en" target="_blank">this link</a>. You will then receive your boarding pass by email. You can save it to your mobile phone or print it out. You can also use the Tunisair app.
Passengers who only have carry-on luggage can proceed directly to the departure gate.
Passengers who have luggage to check in must present themselves at the Web &amp; Mobile Check-in counter, where they will hand in their luggage for check-in. You must arrive no later than 60 minutes prior to departure.
<h3>Airport check-in</h3>
Check-in at the airport is free of charge at the check-in counter. Check-in counters usually open 3 hours before departure. You must arrive at least 60 minutes before departure, after which the counters close.

Tunisair is a Tunisian airline with a long tradition based in Tunis. In addition to the Tunisian government, Air France was involved in the creation of Tunisair. Tunisair has been operating since 1948. Its independence began a few months later in 1949 when the first Tunisian employees were recruited. Tunisair became fully independent from Air France in 1979. In 2007, Tunisair created a new subsidiary, Mauritania Airways, to operate both domestic and international flights.

<h3>Carry-on luggage</h3>
It is possible to transport carry-on luggage free of charge, the number and weight differ for the Economy and Business Class. In both cases, one small personal bag (e.g. small handbag, laptop) can be transported free of charge in addition to carry-on luggage. The dimensions of the hand baggage must not exceed 115 cm / 45 inches (sum of three sides).

<li>The standard for economy class is 1 piece, weight up to 8 kg / 17,6 lb</li>
<li>For the business class, it is 2 pieces, total weight up to 10 kg / 22 lb</li>

A stroller for small children is always transported free of charge. Children not entitled to a passenger seat are entitled to one piece of luggage weighing up to 10 kg (22 lb), 115 cm (45 inches) in size.
<h3>Other luggage</h3>
Sports equipment can be transported free of charge as part of checked luggage, provided it does not exceed the weight and dimensions allowed. Otherwise, an excess luggage fee must be paid.

<li>Exception: free transport of a golf bag weighing up to 15 kg / 33 lb (for Germany even up to 20 kg / 44 lb), higher weights for an additional fee</li>
</ul>
Pets can be transported for a fee either in the cabin (up to 8 kg / 17,6 lb) or in the hold. Animals must be accompanied by valid documents. The following dog breeds are not allowed to travel to Tunisia:

Free refreshments and drinks are provided free of charge during flights. Morning flights include a croissant with butter and jam. On later flights, a hot meal or sandwiches are usually served. A wider range of snacks is available for a fee.
