Travelling with children at Volotea

Travel with children under 2 years

Volotea offers a special price of EUR 25 (21 GBP/ 27 USD) for a one-way flight for children who are under 2 years old. Children must be between the ages of 7 days to 13 months for the price to be valid. For safety reasons 7 days is the minimum age for traveling. You can bring a bottle of baby milk or juice on board. You are also entitled to 2 pieces of free baby equipment (stroller, car seat) which must be checked in at the check-in counter. Young children are expected to travel on their mother's/father's lap.

Traveling with children

If it's your child's first time flying and you notify the airline, a First Flight Certificate will be issued to your child. If you want to keep your children entertained during the flight, Volotea offers access to an entertainment system for a fee of EUR 1.99 (1.67 GBP/ 2.17 USD). You must have your own smart device (mobile/tablet/laptop) to use it. The entertainment system includes stories, games, music, series or destination guides. Children over the age of 2 don't receive any special discounts on tickets.

Unaccompanied Children

Children aged 12 and over can travel on Volotea flights unaccompanied by an adult. If the flight starts in Italy or Croatia, the age limit is higher, at 14 years. Volotea doesn't offer an unaccompanied child service. If a child does not meet the age limit, he/she must always be accompanied by a person over 18 years of age.
