The app is free, easy to use and available in English. The check-in option is one of the main buttons on the home screen. <h3>Travel with children under 2</h3>
Children under 2 years old travel for free on domestic routes in Germany and on all other routes with a ticket worth 10% of the regular fare. Please note that children, who reach the age of two during the journey, must have a separate seat and purchase a child fare.
You can take your pushchair to the door of the Lufthansa airplane. The compact foldable stroller (max. dimensions 55 x 40 x 23 cm) can be taken on board instead of carry-on luggage. Take your child's favourite toys, clothes, food, baby bottle and nappies in your carry-on luggage.
<h3>Traveling with children from 2 to 12 years</h3>
Children aged from 2 to 12 years must have their own seat booked and can travel on almost all routes at a discounted price of 75% of the regular fare.
It is especially important for families that everyone has a seat next to each other on long flights and that children sit in their favourite seats - by the window or near the toilet. Passengers can reserve seats on all Lufthansa or Lufthansa Regional flights at an additional fee according to the travel class purchased.
You can order food for children. Kids meals are generally available on flights lasting at least 185 minutes in Economy Class and 75 minutes in Business Class. Children's menu can be ordered when booking the flight no later than 24 hours before departure, online or via the Lufthansa Information Centre.

In Economy Class, meals are served to passengers depending on the length of the flight. You will receive a snack, sandwich or hot meal. Whether it's coffee, white wine or juice, you can enjoy a wide selection of free drinks on Lufthansa flights. There is a selection of hot and cold drinks, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Depending on the length of the flight, drinks are served several times.
Passengers, who wish to have a special meal for dietary, nutritional or religious reasons, can choose from 11 different meals when travelling with Lufthansa.
Economy Class meals depending on flight length:

<li>above 50 minutes passengers receive a bottle of water,</li>
<li>above 65 minutes on international flights coffee and tea are available,</li>
