About Vueling
Spanish airline Vueling is a low-cost airline. It was founded in February 2004 and five years later it merged with Clickair (formerly Catair) to become the country's second largest airline. The name Vueling is a combination of the Spanish word vuelo (flight) and the English suffix (ing). It has its main base in Barcelona at El Prat Airport.
Currently, 122 destinations can be visited with Vueling from 12 European bases. In addition to Europe, Vueling also flies to the Middle East and Northwest Africa.
The airline's fleet numbers 127 aircraft, the majority of which are Airbus A320s, followed by Airbus A321s, with Airbus A319 being the least represented.
