Online check-in

Online check-in can be done directly on Vueling's website. If you didn't purchase a specific seat when you booked it, online check-in will be available 7 days before departure and must be completed up to 1 hour before your scheduled departure (this time may vary, we recommend to check it here). Your seat will be assigned at random.

If you have purchased a ticket in Optima, Family or TimeFlex fares or purchased a specific seat, online check-in will be available immediately after you complete your purchase and it'll be closed no later than one hour before your scheduled departure (again, this time may vary).

Print your PDF boarding pass and take it with you to the airport. Another option for you is to download the boarding pass to the mobile app (Android, iOS), so you can just present the QR barcode at the airport.

Some passengers can't use online check-in, so they need to come to the airport counter to check-in. These are:

• unaccompanied minors travelling from any Italian airport
• passengers with an animal
• passengers who have an extra seat
• passengers with a suspended payment
• passengers who can't be verified online
• passengers with sports equipment
• passengers requiring verification of the identity of the credit card holder

Airport Clearance

If the airport doesn't allow online check-in or your reservation doesn't allow it, you'll be checked in for free at the airport. Barcelona Airport also has a check-in kiosk.
