It was founded in February 2004 and merged with Clickair (originally Catair) five years later, becoming the second-largest airline in its country. The name Vueling is a combination of the Spanish word vuelo (flight) and the English suffix (ing). Its main base is in Barcelona at El Prat Airport.

Print the boarding pass in PDF format and take it with you to the airport. With Vueling, you can travel with children from the age of 7 days. The fee for a child under 2 years old is £13.00-£134.00 (15.0-155.0 EUR). Such a small child sits on an adult's lap during the flight (seats have two oxygen masks, and the child receives their own belt and vest). There is a changing station available on the plane. With a boarding pass marked with the "Travel with infant" tag, you can bring two pieces of luggage on board for free.
<h3>Traveling with children from 2 to 12 years old</h3>
Children up to 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. From the age of 2, they have their own seat, and at the age of 24-36 months, they can have an approved car seat with them; booster seats are not allowed. You are entitled to check in a folding stroller for free. It must be up to 10 kg and measure 40 x 20 x 55 cm.

If you only want to move the departure to an earlier time and the date remains the same, the price starts from 40 EUR.
You can change the flight up to 2 hours before departure. If you made a mistake in the booking, it can be corrected within 24 hours of purchase.
If you have the Optima, Family, or TimeFlex fare, you can change the ticket for free. The TimeFlex fare offers unlimited changes. If you have the Basic fare, you can purchase the Flex package for 3-10 EUR, which also allows you to make changes for free.

If you have the Optima, Family, or TimeFlex fare, you have the option to cancel your flight in the form of flight credit. The Basic fare does not offer this option, but for a fee of 3 - 10£ (3.5 - 11.5 EUR), you can purchase the Flex package, which also allows cancellation within the flight fare.
In these cases, cancellation is possible up to 48 hours before departure for free. You can cancel in the reservation management after logging in, and you will then receive an email with flight credit, which you can use for your next purchase for yourself or another person.
If you paid with Avios points, you will receive them back to your Avios account after cancellation. The refund may take up to a week.
