Travel with children under 2 years

Qatar Airways allows traveling with newborns from day 8 of age. The airline offers a special fare for babies under 2 years of age, which is valid only if the child will be traveling on the lap of one of the parents. If you want your child to travel in a special infant seat, he or she must have his or her own seat and the Child fare.

Travel with children 2 - 12 years

Children aged 5 - 12 years old can travel as unaccompanied children (service for a fee, more information here). Children in this age range pay the price of an adult ticket.

Children aged 2 - 5 years old must travel with an accompanying person over 18 years old on the board of the aircraft. Children in this age range (2 - 5 years old) must have purchased a ticket on a special children's fare.
