Traveling with Children on Wizz Air
Traveling with Children Under 2 Years Old
The ticket price for children under two years old is uniform for all flights, at 3.9£ (4.1 EUR). Such young children are expected to sit on an adult's lap, and in this case, the adult must reserve a window seat. Only one child under two years old can travel on an adult's lap. In the rear of the plane, there is a changing table available in the restroom. A car seat for a child under two years old can be brought on board only after purchasing an additional seat. To qualify for these rules, the child must be older than 14 days and younger than two years at the time of arrival/departure.
If you are traveling with small children, you need not worry. Wizz Air offers several benefits for passengers with small children. One of these is priority boarding for two adults traveling with a child under two years old. You can bring a collapsible stroller up to the aircraft door or stairs, and then the staff will store it in the aircraft's luggage compartment free of charge. It is recommended to visit the check-in counter with these checked items, where the staff will label them for free.
Traveling with Children Under 14 Years Old
Children under 14 years old do not receive any special discounts on ticket prices; they pay the same amount as adults. They are not allowed to travel without the accompaniment of an adult (over 16 years old) and are entitled to a free seat allocation when an adult reserves a seat. The adult must pay for the seat reservation, and any number of children traveling with them can have seats in rows 18-33 for free, so the family can sit together.
Traveling with Teenagers
Children aged 14 and 15 can travel unaccompanied, but they cannot be responsible for another child.
