Traveling with a Child on Ryanair

Traveling with Infants and Children Under 2 Years

Ryanair does not transport infants younger than 7 days (inclusive). The ticket price for infants is uniform for all flights, set at 25.9£ (30.0 EUR). It may sometimes be more expensive than an adult ticket. Infants can sit on an adult's lap during the flight, but a separate seat can also be reserved for them. A seat can only be reserved if you use AmSafe CARES safety belts or a car seat approved for use on an aircraft with a five-point harness.

You can transport 2 pieces of baby equipment per child for free (1 stroller + car seat/booster/travel cot). There is a changing table available at the back of the plane. The flight crew can warm a baby bottle upon request. When traveling with an infant, the accompanying adult is entitled to an additional carry-on bag with baby items weighing up to 5 kg.

Traveling with Children Under 12 Years

No discounts are provided for children under 12 years, and they must not travel without an accompanying adult. The same conditions apply to them as to teenagers up to 16 years. Adults traveling with children under 12 years are required to purchase one seat (in rows 18 - 33, fee 5.2£). Children will then be assigned seats next to the adult for free.

Traveling with Teenagers Under 16 Years

Teenagers under 16 years pay the same price for tickets and services as adults. They are not provided with any discounts or benefits. Teenagers under 16 must always travel with an adult companion and cannot travel alone.
