Delayed Flight with Ryanair

If there is a delay of 2 or more hours at the departure airport, you are entitled to free refreshments. Usually, the airline will issue you a voucher for a certain amount (depending on the length of the delay), which you can use directly at the airport.

If your flight is delayed by more than 3 hours, you are also entitled to financial compensation. The amount varies depending on the distance between the two airports. Compensation is only applicable if the delay is the airline's fault. If the airports are within 1500 km, you are entitled to compensation of 250 EUR.

Cancelled Flight with Ryanair

If the airline cancels the flight, you are entitled to a full refund (you must request it online) or a free change of flight to a new time/date.

Additionally, if the flight is canceled by the airline less than 14 days before departure, you may be entitled to financial compensation of up to 600 EUR under certain conditions. You can have your claim assessed by one of the online agencies specializing in aviation law.
